Overview

The Green Jacket Indoor Golf and Sports Bar is seeking knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic Golf Pro Associates to provide an exceptional golf experience for our guests. As a Golf Pro Associate, you will assist guests with our state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators, offer tips to improve their game, and ensure they enjoy a memorable time at our sports bar. Your expertise and customer service will create a unique blend of fun and skill-building for golfers of all levels.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement:

Welcome guests and provide a friendly introduction to our golf simulators and facilities.

Assist with simulator setup, including selecting courses and calibrating settings to suit the guest’s preferences.

Provide tips and techniques to improve guests’ golfing skills, tailored to their experience level.

Instruction and Coaching:

Offer basic golf instruction to guests, focusing on form, swing, and technique.

Facilitate group sessions, corporate events, and private lessons as needed.

Create a positive and encouraging learning environment for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Simulator Maintenance:

Ensure golf simulators are functioning correctly, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.

Maintain clean and organized simulator areas, ensuring equipment is in excellent condition.

Sales and Promotions:

Promote golf-related programs, events, and merchandise to guests.

Encourage guests to book future simulator sessions or lessons.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members, including bartenders, servers, and management, to provide seamless service.

Support the team during peak hours by assisting in other areas as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prior experience in golf instruction or a strong personal background in the sport is required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to explain golfing concepts in a simple and approachable manner.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with indoor golf simulators or similar technology is a plus (training will be provided).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and demonstrate golf techniques for extended periods.

Comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds and adjusting simulator equipment as needed.

Work Schedule:

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate peak hours and special events.
