We are urgently seeking an experienced Payroll Lead. This position is hands-on, paper-based, and focused solely on payroll processing, not general accounting. Candidates must have recent, primary payroll experience, preferably with ADP. This is not a data-entry role — we’re looking for someone who has owned the payroll process from start to finish for 80–120 employees, including multi-state processing.

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 80–120 employees
• Handle payroll setup across multiple U.S. states
• Enter garnishments, reimbursements, and employment verifications
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with payroll regulations
• Work closely with ADP for payroll and tax filings
• Support manual, paper-based payroll processes
• Minimum 4 years recent payroll experience (not data entry)
• Proficiency with ADP
• Solid Excel skills
• Multi-state payroll experience
• Understanding of garnishments and employment law
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic
