Forklift Operator-Day Shift
Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for Forklift Operators.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and other warehousing equipment.
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and transfers goods within the Company’s production area, freezers, coolers, dry storage and docking areas.
- Ability to work in a team environment with the common goal of supporting the Company.
- Understands the importance of adherence to inventory processes.
- Follows warehousing protocol and procedures (such as FIFO).
- Ability to cycle count products to ensure the accountability is always maintained.
- Ability to travel in different areas of the temperature-controlled warehouse.
Job Requirements, Education, & Certifications
- Currently forklift certified.
- Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read and write English with basic math skills.
- Working knowledge of barcoding system including scanners and devices.
- Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
