Now Hiring for Our Brand-New Sugar Land Location! We’re excited to bring Mia’s Table to Sugar Land and are currently building our opening team ahead of our anticipated late June 2026 opening! At Mia’s Table, we believe great food brings people together. Known for our Southern comfort food, warm hospitality, and family-friendly atmosphere, Mia’s Table is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place where guests feel at home. As we prepare to open our newest location, we’re looking for energetic, hardworking, and team-oriented individuals to join our Food Runner & Busser team. This role is essential to delivering a great guest experience by keeping the dining room running smoothly and ensuring guests receive their food quickly, accurately, and with genuine hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy staying active throughout your shift, and love working as part of a strong team, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do: As a Food Runner / Busser at Mia’s Table, you’ll help create an exceptional dining experience by supporting both guests and team members throughout service. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering food quickly and accurately to guests
- Ensuring plates are presented properly and match each order
- Assisting guests with drink refills, sauces, condiments, and additional requests
- Clearing and cleaning tables efficiently to prepare for incoming guests
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining room, patio, beverage stations, and service areas
- Working closely with Cashiers, Expo, Kitchen Staff, and Managers to maintain smooth operations
- Assisting with stocking supplies and side work throughout the shift
- Providing friendly and attentive hospitality to every guest
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment
- Supporting the team during busy periods with urgency and a positive attitude
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts
- Friendly and professional guest interaction skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the entire shift
- Food Handler Certification required
