Senior Accountant

As our Client continues to scale, we're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join their Finance team and help strengthen our financial operations and reporting functions.

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and may supervise junior accounting staff or support cross-functional finance projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies independently.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

• Review and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Mentor or supervise junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred).

• 5+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or a related field experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification

• Valid drivers license
