Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: San Angelo, Texas 76903
• Setting: Outpatient Physical Therapy – Orthopedic
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/22/2025 – End: 12/22/2025)
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (08:00 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200-$2250
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• EMR: EPIC

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (required at submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (new travelers with strong clinical rotations considered)
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Travel healthcare experience highly preferred

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional physical therapy care to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Perform patient assessments, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Utilize adaptive and assistive devices, modalities (E-stim, ultrasound, cryotherapy), and manual therapy techniques
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in facility orientation and adhere to compliance requirements
