Job Description

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

PM / Business Analyst Legacy to Web Application Modernization

Minimum Requirements:

Years-Required/Preferred-Experience

• 12-Required-Experience in Legacy system analysis and modernization strategies.
• 12-Required-Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), particularly for web-based application development.
• 12-Required-Experience in gathering requirements elicitation and documentation (business, functional, and technical).
• 12-Required-Experience in translating legacy application behaviour into modern web-based system requirements.
• 12-Required-Experience in Stakeholder facilitation, communication, and consensus building, Project coordination and task tracking.
• 12-Required-Knowledge of analysing SQL-based data models and system integrations.
• 12-Required-Reviewing system workflows and identifying modernization opportunities.
• 12-Required-Written, verbal, and presentation communication.
• 12-Required-Create clear, complete, and testable requirements documentation.
• 12-Required-Work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• 12-Required-Identify system and compliance gaps and propose feasible solutions.
• 12-Required-Adapt to evolving technical requirements and modernization complexities.
• 12-Required-Maintain productive working relationships in a fast-paced project environment.
• 12-Preferred-experience in business analysis or PM/BA roles.
• 8-Preferred-Demonstrated experience converting legacy applications to web-based solutions.
• 8-Preferred-Hands-on experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases.
• 8-Preferred-Experience with project management methodologies.
• 4-Preferred-Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4-Preferred-Experience supporting large-scale IT systems within government or regulated environments
• 4-Preferred-PMP,PMI-PBA, CBAP, or similar certification preferred.
