GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Conduct inspections, sampling, release and rejection for incoming raw materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

· Inspect all incoming raw materials for defects.

· Retrieve samples from incoming raw materials.

· Accurately label samples in accordance to SOP.

· Log samples in tracking system, ensuring the accuracy of pertinent data.

· Maintain sampling booth to keep it clean.

· Release and reject raw materials.

· Comply with Company SOPs and policies.

· Comply with all safety policies and regulations.

· Assist the QC Laboratory management team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

· Ability to read, speaks, and write English.

· Ability to perform simple math functions.

· Basic mechanical aptitude and able to work with hand tools and gauges.

· Adhere to laboratory safety standards, by adhering to all company safety policies and wearing appropriate and required PPE.

· Working knowledge of cGMPs, GLPs, ISO and 21CFR 210, 211, 111 and 117.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

· Ability to lift 40lbs with or without accommodations

· Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required.

· Bend reach forward and overhead, squat, kneel, twist and turn.

· Able to use the forklift or pallet jack when needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Previous work experience in food, drug, dietary supplement and/or cosmetic manufacturing preferred.
