Palliative Program Regional Director
- Degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in palliative care or a similar healthcare leadership role.
- Strong understanding of palliative care standards, principles, and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex healthcare programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using healthcare technology and data systems to support operations and reporting.
- Frequent overnight travel required.
- Valid Driver's License and car insurance.
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and goals for the palliative care program in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the palliative care program and internal/external stakeholders.
- Partners with Clinical, HR, Finance, and IT leaders to ensure operational readiness, compliance, and workforce alignment.
- Anticipates operational needs as the company grows and proactively develops systems to improve efficiency and accountability.
- Oversee daily operations of the palliative care program, including patient care services, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and mentor palliative care team members, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and chaplains.
- Establishes leadership standards that promote accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Promote community awareness and understanding of palliative care services.
- Collaborate with community organizations to expand program reach and impact.
- Manage program budget, including cost analysis and financial planning
- Analyze program performance metrics and outcomes to drive improvements.
- Timely submission of all documentation.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
