Mortgage Receptionist

Are you friendly, organized, and love helping people? Our location is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a customer service-oriented mortgage receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and associates. The ideal candidate will have office experience, as a front desk receptionist or administrative assistant, and excellent multitasking and communication skills. Knowledge of mortgage loans is not required, but it is certainly helpful! $14 - $15 hourly

• Provide administrative support and clerical duties for the mortgage team as needed
• Manage front desk receptionist duties such as faxing, sorting incoming mail, handling phone calls, and greeting clients in a professional manner
• Monitor all visitors by recording their names in the visitor log, and assure all employees have identification
• Liaise effectively with clients, mortgage lenders, loan processors, and real estate agents throughout the mortgage loan process
• Be sure the front office is tidy for visitors and that office supplies are stocked

• Provide light bookkeeping such as processing invoices, reimbursement requests, and managing PTO for staff
• Manage and schedule the company's complimentary moving van and ensure routine maintenance is completed

• Superior customer service, computer skills (especially Microsoft Office), and excellent communication skills are necessary
• Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills are essential
• H.S. diploma, GED or equivalent is required
• Understanding of mortgage industry, real estate, or mortgage services is desired, but not a requirement
• Previous experience as an administrative assistant or office receptionist is needed
