Human Resource Intern
- Provide administrative and operational support across day-to-day HR activities.
- Assist with internal HR communications including newsletters, announcements, and employee updates.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and programs that strengthen workplace culture.
- Assist with coordination of HR meetings, training sessions, and internal activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries and connect employees with appropriate HR resources.
- Support HR documentation, records management, and data tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and data privacy guidelines.
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Must be based in Houston, TX or surrounding areas. Relocation is not provided.
- Fully in-person role: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Candidates should be able to commit to a one year internship
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Students currently enrolled in their degree program may apply if able to commit to the internship schedule.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a professional environment.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience creating internal communications or newsletters is a plus.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
- Interest in Human Resources, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
