About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Odessa, Texas, 79761!

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
• Perform advanced assessments, interpret cardiac monitoring, and manage ventilators.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions as ordered.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor, document, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and recovery processes.
• Support other units (MS/Tele, ER) as needed to ensure safe patient care across the hospital.

Requirements

• Experience: Recent ICU/Critical Care RN experience required
• Licensure: Active RN license (state specific or Compact, as applicable)
• Certifications:

• • ACLS – Required

  • BLS – Required

  • TNCC or TCAR – Required

  • NIH Stroke Scale – Required

  • 6 hrs Stroke Education – Required (facility can provide if needed)

  • EKG Course Completion – Required (facility can provide if needed)
