Mortgage Funder (Wholesale)

Description

CMG Financial is seeking an onsite Loan Funder in Irving, Texas, responsible for reviewing loan documents and ensuring accurate funding in compliance with company guidelines. Key responsibilities include resolving customer issues, reconciling loan fees, preparing outstanding item lists, and performing data entry. Requires at least three years of mortgage funding experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

This position requires the employee to work onsite at our Irving, Texas location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains current knowledge of Policies and Procedures as they relate to documents and funding.
• Research and resolve problems or complaints from internal and external customers.
• Accurate and timely review of all loan documents.
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of all fees and figures relating to each loan while paying attention to the GFE and Fee Sheet disclosures.
• Follows loan checklist order as conditions are signed off and new information is received.
• Prepares a complete list of all outstanding items remaining after review or corrections that must be made and promptly forwards to broker and closing agent or Title Company.
• Follows up on open documents or items required to fund the loan.
• Performs accurate input of all required funding fields prior to input to generate correct wire amount.
• Data entry to Byte regarding file.
• Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be about to work onsite in Irving, Texas.
• Minimum three (3) years in the mortgage industry with specific experience as a Funder.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

Compensation:

Base Compensation Information – This role is currently allocated for candidates within geographic regions that do not currently require base wage disclosure. The compensation range for this position will be provided upon request. (Due to their geographic location, residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this role at this time.)
