Position Summary:

The National CCMR Coordinator works directly with the Executive Director of Blue-X Virtual Learning Operations, along with other departmental personnel to perform position requirements, workflow and assist with other duties as defined. The National CCMR Coordinator leads the development, implementation, and oversight of college, career, and military readiness initiatives across the Blue-X Virtual school network. This role ensures that all students—regardless of location—have equitable access to pathways that prepare them for success beyond graduation. The Coordinator provides leadership in program planning, compliance monitoring, partnership development, and data reporting, ensuring alignment with state and national CCMR standards and supporting the academic goals of the grade-level "House" structure. The primary aim of the CCMR Coordinator is to align all responsibilities and deliverables with the strategic objectives and cultural vision of Blue-X Virtual.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Education/Certification:
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Teaching Certification
  • Master’s preferred
  • Various industry certifications preferred but not required
Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in college/career readiness, counseling, or secondary education administration.
  • Experience with virtual education and managing programs across multi-state or national lines preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state CCMR accountability measures and reporting methodologies is essential.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of comprehensive postsecondary pathways, including CTE program management, dual credit/AP compliance, and military readiness requirements.
  • Excellent data analysis, aggregation, and reporting skills, with the ability to manage large, complex data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency with student information systems (SIS), data management tools, and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g., conferencing, file sharing, and project management software).
  • Strong time management and workload skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with a consistently positive attitude.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Achieves and sustains an increase in the percentage of students meeting CCMR benchmarks across all states served.
  • Ensures 100% compliance with all state and federal CCMR data collection and reporting requirements.
  • Establishes a minimum of 2-4 new, measurable partnerships annually that expand student access to college credit or industry certifications.
  • Provides timely, accurate, and actionable CCMR data and reports to school leadership teams quarterly
  • Strategic Design: Design, coordinate, and evaluate comprehensive CCMR programs across all campuses and states served by the virtual school, ensuring programmatic scalability and equity.
  • Pathway Oversight: Oversee the successful implementation of college readiness assessments (e.g., SAT, ACT, TSIA), Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, dual credit/dual enrollment, industry certifications, and military exploration programs.
  • Resource Creation: Develop and maintain clear, accessible virtual systems and resources for students, families, and House staff regarding graduation plans, postsecondary options, and readiness benchmarks.
B. Data Management & Compliance
  • Accountability Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report CCMR data for all students to ensure compliance with diverse state and federal accountability standards across the virtual school’s operating footprint.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress toward CCMR indicators and collaborate with school leadership (including Managing Instructors and Success Mentors) to identify achievement gaps and implement data-informed strategies to improve outcomes.
  • State Coordination: Coordinate with various state education agencies to ensure data accuracy, proper classification of CCMR indicators, and timely reporting compliance for all audits and accountability submissions.
C. Collaboration & Communication
  • Central Liaison: Serve as the primary, national-level point of contact and subject matter expert for all CCMR initiatives.
  • Internal Partnership: Partner closely with school counselors, academic advisors, and CTE staff to align student supports, ensure efficient student enrollment in advanced courses, and verify pathway completion.
  • Stakeholder Outreach: Communicate regularly with families and students about college and career opportunities, deadlines, FAFSA/scholarship information, and resource availability via virtual platforms.
D. Partnership & Outreach
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain high-level relationships with diverse Higher Education Institutions, Workforce Development Boards, Industry Partners, and Military Organizations to create formal agreements.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate and host large-scale virtual college fairs, career information sessions, and workshops tailored for the remote student body and parent community.
  • Opportunity Expansion: Identify and expand partnerships that demonstrably increase student access to college credit, industry certifications, internships, and military readiness opportunities.
E. Leadership & Training
  • Staff Development: Provide essential training and ongoing guidance to school-level staff, including MIs and Learning Facilitators, on CCMR requirements, reporting procedures, and effective student support strategies in a virtual context.
  • Culture Building: Support leadership teams in establishing and sustaining a strong culture of postsecondary readiness across the entire virtual school environment.
  • Mentors core function is to assist with pulling data and delivering reports on a scheduled basis.
  • Assist Facilitators and MI’s with Student Support and Engagement
  • Ensure that students attend and participate in content learning activities.
  • Develop and maintain processes to continuously monitor key performance indicators across the assigned house, specifically tracking achievement, attendance and course completion rates.
  • Utilize analytical tools to identify students and groups at high risk of academic failure or withdrawal, generating prioritized reports for Managing Instructors (MIs).
  • Meet regularly with MIs to review House data, interpret trends, and collaboratively design evidence-based intervention strategies for both individual students and house-wide cohorts.
  • Participate in professional development and coaching with the assigned MI and Facilitators.
  • Serve as the liaison between the House, administration, students and guardians.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
