HR Leader

About the Opportunity
Our client is a global leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, serving many of the world's largest technology companies across cloud computing, AI infrastructure, networking, automotive electronics, and power management solutions. As the organization continues its rapid expansion throughout North America, they are seeking a strategic, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across multiple Texas locations.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while supporting a diverse workforce that includes manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, operations, and corporate functions.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership across all areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, compliance, compensation, employee engagement, and workforce planning. This role will be based in Plano, Texas, with responsibility for supporting multiple manufacturing and operational locations throughout Texas.
The ideal candidate combines strategic business partnership with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and execute. This individual will work closely with U.S. leadership while collaborating with global HR teams to ensure alignment with company initiatives and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for senior leadership across multiple Texas operations.
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried, hourly, technical, engineering, and leadership positions.
- Partner with operations leaders to drive workforce planning and staffing initiatives.
- Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Investigate and resolve employee relations matters while ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEO, and other applicable regulations.
- Manage employee performance review processes and succession planning initiatives.
- Support compensation planning, market benchmarking, and annual salary review processes.
- Develop programs that enhance employee engagement, retention, recognition, and company culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to provide meaningful recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with Safety, Operations, and Manufacturing leaders to foster a strong culture of safety and accountability.
- Support organizational changes, acquisitions, facility expansions, and workforce transitions as needed.
- Lead HR policy development, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and develop local HR staff as the organization continues to grow.
- Travel regularly between Texas facilities to support employees and business leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing or industrial locations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and Texas employment law.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leaders.
- Experience leading employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
- Background in recruiting both exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience supporting global or multinational organizations.
- Background in electronics, semiconductor, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.
- Experience supporting greenfield operations, facility expansions, or high-growth organizations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement environments.
- Strategic HR leadership role with executive visibility.
