What You'll Do

  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance and provide recommendations based on trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes for the operating unit
  • Provide in-depth plan and forecast to actual variance analysis, with a focus toward gap closure
  • Evaluate capital investments to ensure alignment with business objectives with the highest returns for the Company
  • Develop and maintain key financial metrics and dashboards to communicate performance to leadership
  • Ensure all financial practices comply with CMC policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring a strong control environment is in place
  • Work with Director of Finance to ensure business unit objectives are aligned to Divisional and Corporate strategic objectives
  • Support special projects as needed

What You'll Need

  • Robust financial statement modeling
  • Strong quantitative, analytical & problem solving skills, with ability to use analysis, judgment & logic to solve problems and make decisions
  • Deep curiosity of profit drivers and ability to use multiple financial systems to mine data
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate the story to management
  • Proven ability to influence decision making that drives business success
  • Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and meets them with quality and accuracy
  • Effectively collaborates with various teams to gather and analyze financial information
  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or other related field. Previous distribution or manufacturing experience required.
  • Proficiency with SAP and MS Office; especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • SAP BPC and FACTS knowledge preferred

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or other business related field
