Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Document Controller in the Houston TX area

DUTIES:
*R e ceives, p rocesses, monitors a nd ex pedites internal a n d e x t e rnal distribution o f e n g ineering a n d s u pp li e r documentation.
*V a lidates d ocument q uality a nd i s t he f inal q uality check before ro uting a nd transmitting.
*R e j e cts incoming d ocuments f rom s u ppliers b a s e d on q uality a nd requirement cr i ter i a .
*C o llaborates w ith p roject teams to e n s ure project document control r e quirements a r e met. *F unctions a s integral m e mber of the project team a lerting P roject m a n a ge r to document issues w hich may i mpact p roject s c h e d u l e
*P a r ticipates in P roject initiation meetings, confers w ith P M a n d P EM’s to a ss ure d e liverable a nd s u pp l i e r d ocuments m e e t project r e quirements.
* Applying k n o w ledge o f e n g ineering, c onstruction, a n d manufacturing processes.
* D o cuments information a nd project s pecific p rocess u s ing s tandard template(s) a n d maintains processes w ithin B luebeam S tud i o .
*Accountable f or P r oject Document Q u a lity f o r c o mpleteness, f ormat, a n d compliance w ith contract a n d p roject requ i rements .

REQUIREMENTS:
P roficiency w ith M S Of f ice p roducts, s p e cifically O u tlook, W ord a nd E x c e l.
Experience w ith industry s tandard document control a pplications s u ch a s M S S h a r e P o int a n d Documentum C P is preferred . Knowledge of B luebeam, P L M , S AP a n d remote c o l laboration tool(s) including W e b E x , S k y p e or G o T o Mee ting is a plus
F a miliarity w ith e ng i neer i ng a pplications i n cluding AutoCAD, P DMS, S o lidWorks a n d N a v i sw o rks is a plus
