The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Commercial Loan Processor role in the Katy, TX area. The successful candidate will be assisting other loan personnel in various duties to ensure the successful operation of the loan department.

This position comes with a generous salary of up to $70K and full benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Commercial Loan Processor responsibilities include:

• Responsible for various aspects of loan operations including input of commercial real estate, commercial construction, and C&I loans.
• Completing internal checklists ensuring compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures with accuracy for all loan requests including commercial real estate, commercial construction, and C&I loans.
• Presenting for reviewing all required documents and complete and accurate loan files.
• Garner appropriate documents from commercial loan borrowers.
• Completing required documentation in Laser Pro following the approval of the loan request.
• Assisting with questions regarding all aspects of commercial real estate, commercial construction, and C&I loans.
• Completing HMDA Data and beneficial ownership worksheets and input data.
• Completing UCC searches and filing new UCCs when appropriate.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
• Completing required training associated with job functions.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• Three or more years of banking or commercial real estate, commercial construction, and C&I loan processing experience preferred.
• Understanding of commercial real estate, commercial construction, and C&I loan structures, Laser Pro loan software or similar preferred.
• Adequate knowledge of internal policies and procedures and the respective state and federal laws and regulations governing departmental functions to ensure the performance of job duties.
• Must be able to work with detailed information in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner.
• Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
