MRP Field Sales Inspector
The MRP Field Inspector & Sales Specialist is a hybrid role that combines sales responsibilities with in-field inspections for a premium insurance carrier partner. This position is responsible for driving MRP business by managing assigned claims from initial field assignment through the end of the production process. The role requires strong customer service, technical inspection skills, and the ability to maintain clear and consistent communication with homeowners, property managers, vendors, and internal teams.
Essential Functions
Sales & Claim Management
- Actively pursue sales of assigned claims via the managed repair program.
- Track sales activity and meet revenue goals.
- Maintain good working relationships with program vendors.
- Obtain signed contracts and collect insurance payments, including deductible amounts.
Inspection & Field Work
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections assigned by the MRP Manager or program.
- Utilize technology effectively for documentation, measurements, and photo capture.
- Perform final inspections to ensure job sites are clean, materials removed, and all fasteners cleared.
- Identify geometric shapes, calculate total area, and take precise measurements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of specialty roofing materials (tile, slate, wood, etc.).
Customer Service & Communication
- Stay in regular communication with homeowners throughout the claims process via email, text, or phone.
- Engage professionally with homeowners and property managers to assess needs and build trust.
- Obtain customer satisfaction signatures after project completion
Documentation & CRM Management
- Accurately complete and file all paperwork.
- Maintain daily updates in the company CRM, including signed contracts, photos, and progress notes.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and compliance with claim flow processes.
Other Duties
- Support departmental process execution and improvement.
- Travel to other assigned markets as needed (up to 75%).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree preferred; high school diploma with relevant experience required.
- Trade school degree in exterior building or construction highly desirable.
- Experience with specialty roofing materials required
- Minimum 2 years in construction or a related field required.
- 5+ years in adjusting or inspecting preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, project management tools, and CRM platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional and professional customer service orientation.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail, and inspection technologies.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders safely, and work at heights and access steep roofs
- Ability to use a drone
- Ability to travel up to 75%
