Journeyman Electrician – Execute Commercial Power and Control Installations.

Job Overview

• Company: LumaNation Electric
• Salary/Pay Rate: $36 - $42+ per hour (Based on experience).
• Location: Prosper, Texas
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday.
• Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, Government or Federal Electrical & Controls Projects
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Texas Journeyman Electrician License.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a skilled field technician, executing large-scale commercial electrical and control projects. This role allows you to build high-quality installations for a company that values your individual contribution. You will have the technical autonomy to complete tasks while being supported by a leadership team that knows you by name.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Execute daily electrical installation tasks in strict accordance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Install complex commercial power, lighting, and specialized control systems with minimal supervision.
• Interpret detailed project drawings and circuit schematics to ensure precise electrical rough-ins.
• Mentor junior team members and apprentices on-site to foster their ongoing professional development.
• Identify and troubleshoot real-time technical issues on-site to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate the company values of service, trust, care, and ownership in every installation task.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Active and valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
• Proven experience executing complex commercial electrical work within a field environment.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed project drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Solid communication skills necessary for collaborating effectively with field leaders and team members.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training.
• Advanced knowledge of control systems and specialized commercial installations.
• Previous experience assisting or guiding junior team members in a fast-paced environment.
