SUMMARY: The Press Operator will set up and run the Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Press machines, accurately and in a timely manner, to produce excellent quality molds and/or parts in accordance with specifications, planned processes, times, and quality, and ensure the assigned equipment is maintained as needed.

Employment is temp to hire on Dayshift 6AM to 3PM Monday through Friday, can expect 5-10 hours of overtime regurlatly!

JOB DUTIES: Sets-up all Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Presses accurately and in a timely manner.
Accurately weighs all resin containers prior to use and after use, records information on Inventory Log Sheets, and accurately reports amount used for Work Orders.

• Accurately records number of blanks taken on appropriate Inventory Log.
• Molds parts accurately (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.
• Properly die cuts parts (conforms to specifications and processes as recorded on Work Orders) and in a timely manner.
• Properly and accurately clocks in and out of work and jobs.
• Properly and accurately records completed diaphragms and / or molds.
• Properly and accurately records scrap / waste.
• Maintains work area neat and clean.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
• Attains goal for Machine Hours versus Payroll Hours.
• Attains goal for Actual Hours versus Planned Hours on Work Orders.
• Attains goal for scrap and waste.
• Loads ovens as needed.
• Properly handles, uses, operates, and relocates / stores all tooling and dies used.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures in department.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, a maintain accurate records and job history

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Accredited High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Be able to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Be able to reach overhead.
• Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
• Be able to lift and/or move 35 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
