TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardio Thoracic ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ECMO experience required Description: Must float to cardiac stepdown unit. Average daily census is 7 patients. Unit has 10 rooms/beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates should be familiar with multisystem organ failure. Intra-aortic balloon pump management is required. Post cardiac surgery care experience is necessary. Candidates must have pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring skills. Arterial line management experience is needed. Central line care and management skills are required. PICC line management experience is a must. Candidates should be proficient in continuous IV sedation. Ability to titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive drips is essential. Care of the ventilated patient is required. Candidates must be skilled in interpretation of ABGs. Previous charge experience is preferred. Previous travel experience is required.
