Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Dallas, TX, providing outpatient care where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, documenting care, and supporting student learning and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 8–10 patients per day preferred.
- Pediatric, prenatal, or pelvic health experience and/or certification preferred. (If not held, listed as preferred.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pelvic health certification preferred.
- Experience with prenatal patient populations preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
Assignment Details
- Schedule pattern: 5x8.
- Typical patient load: 8–10 patients per day.
- May be expected to participate in student education and supervision.

Maintain licensure in good standing and adhere to state practice act and professional codes of conduct. Participate in performance improvement activities and promote patient and employee safety through safe patient handling and infection control practices.
