The MedSurg Tele Nurse Director will guide a monitored medical-surgical service that blends continuous cardiac telemetry, rhythm surveillance, and heart-monitoring protocols with the versatility of a general medicine floor. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the MedSurg Tele Nurse Director collaborates with hospitalists, surgeons, cardiology, case management, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and ancillary leaders to advance safety, quality, and efficiency. Strong support from assistant nurse managers, clinical educators, charge RNs, centralized telemetry, and data/analytics resources helps the MedSurg Tele Nurse Director drive staffing optimization, budget stewardship, accreditation readiness, performance on priority metrics, and professional development within a friendly nursing staff and a diverse, highly collaborative healthcare team.
