Front Desk Agent – Part-Time / Full-Time (Weekends & Weekdays Available)

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. This position is available for part-time or full-time schedules and may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn. We are happy to train anyone who is motivated and eager to work in the hospitality industry. This position is also suitable for someone looking for stable work, including retirees.

Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Check guests in and out efficiently
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
• Process payments and handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate guest records and reports
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance teams
• Ensure lobby and front desk area are clean and organized
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
• Promote hotel services and amenities
• Needs to able to do laundry and clean rooms

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide proper documentation (I-9 and E-Verify compliant)
• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge (experience with hotel systems is a plus)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Strong team player with reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
