Purchasing Specialist
This position helps to coordinate the purchasing activities and systems, specifically with purchase orders and invoices for Recycle & Reuse, SWD & Midstream. They will help verify all equipment rentals.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Verify and manage rental equipment trackers.
- Initiates, prepares, processes, and verifies purchase orders.
- Data entry and validation in PO system. Logistics reports construction and interpretation.
- Process field tickets, receipts, work orders, logs and internal/external communication.
- Interacts with suppliers to obtain and optimize savings.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, or other problems.
- Coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Follow all HSE policies and procedures.
- Other duties maybe assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel; NetSuite & OpenInvoice is a plus.
- Ability to respond and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be flexible to a changing work environment, available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Must have knowledge and be able to drive to location to verify the different types of field equipment that is being rented.
- Must have Current PEC, 1 st AID, H2S Clear, and Decision Driving Certifications.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
