Key Objectives

  • Lead and manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.

  • Collaborate with R&D, marketing, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Enhance product quality while optimizing cost efficiency and sustainability.
  • Develop and implement strategic development plans to support company growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable development projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to packaging and containers.
  • Establish and maintain development metrics and reporting systems to track progress and performance.
  • Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing development department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Packaging Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product development or related roles within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, technologies, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and manage product lifecycle effectively.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
