Staff Accountant
Description
Stillwater is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to work out of our Franklin, TN office. You will independently perform various general accounting functions including accounts payable and monthly reconciliations for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have superior work ethic and will thrive on a fast-paced work environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable across multiple entities
- Reconciling credit card statements
- Completing month-end general ledger reconciliations and year-end close
- Assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Executing year-end 1099 reporting
- Posting entries into wealth management software
- Handling special projects and report requests as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- 2 years of professional experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping ideal, but willing to train the right candidate
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in Sage Intacct or a comparable financial software required
- Experience in Addepar or a comparable wealth management software
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
Salary Description
$70,000 and up depending on experience
