Maintenance Technician

A Facility Maintenance Technician position that will be working for a phone service operation based in Fort Worth, TX, and reporting to the site manager. This position involves the coordination, management and physical activity associated with the operation and maintenance of various building systems for an industrial production facility.

Responsibilities
Maintain agreed upon standards of physical maintenance and operations of the entire facility and outdoor complex.
Establish and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
Supervise, as needed, the work schedule of all contracted operational services
Assist in the preparation of appropriate bid documents and RFP s to appropriate contractors.
Supervise all service contractors to insure they are performing work diligently and properly according to approved contracts.
Seek cost reductions related to maintenance operations related to preventative maintenance contracts and vendor performance.
Manage emergencies, major problems or issues of major consequences affecting the facility/site.
Identify capital improvement projects.
Perform necessary general repairs in accordance with routine maintenance schedule.
Maintains work order system and develop a preventive Maintenance Plan.
Provides detailed status reports of Maintenance related items.
