Care.com is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our Care for Business team. The ideal candidate has a customer experience-centric mindset, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can drive growth via incremental improvements as well as large strategic projects. We want someone who isn’t afraid of a challenge and is willing to roll their sleeves up and get things done.
Work Environment: Hybrid - We are in the office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.

What You'll Be Working On:
- Driving strategy and roadmap : Own the product strategy for high-impact, cross-functional initiatives. Define and drive a roadmap that advances company objectives, scales effectively, and delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Designing transformative experiences : Partner closely with design and engineering leadership to craft, validate, and launch innovative solutions that redefine the customer experience and elevate product quality across the ecosystem.
- Owning outcomes, not just output : Establish success metrics, measure impact, and use insights to inform strategy. Anticipate market and customer shifts to proactively adjust priorities and maintain alignment with business goals.
- Shaping vision and influencing direction : Synthesize customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics into a compelling vision and actionable priorities. Champion your product’s strategy across functions and at the leadership level.
- Enabling high-performing teams : Define crisp requirements, highlight tradeoffs, and guide cross-functional decision-making with confidence. Build alignment across stakeholders and empower teams to execute with autonomy and clarity.
- Driving continuous evolution : Balance innovation with operational excellence. Maintain a thoughtful backlog that advances strategic initiatives while delivering near-term wins. Cultivate a culture of iteration and learning.
- Communicating with impact : Articulate product strategy, progress, and insights with clarity and influence - tailored to audiences from engineers to executives. Ensure visibility into decisions, risks, and results.

- Your product instincts are matched by technical depth. You collaborate closely with engineering to design scalable systems, understand tradeoffs, and ensure feasibility without compromising vision.
- You are an exceptional communicator and storyteller, equally comfortable diving into details with your team or framing narratives for executives.
- Above all, you lead with ownership and empathy. You inspire trust, drive accountability, and elevate the people and products around you.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Experience: 6+ years in product management, with demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to scale.
- Strategic leadership: Proven ability to define and execute multi-quarter product strategies that align with company objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Technical fluency: Deep comfort partnering with engineering teams and engaging in technical discussions to inform architecture, scope, and prioritization.
- Execution excellence: Skilled at translating vision into detailed requirements and efficient delivery processes that balance speed, quality, and impact.
- Cross-functional influence: Adept at navigating organizational dynamics, influencing without authority, and driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Analytical and customer-driven: Proficient in leveraging data, experimentation, and user insights to inform strategy and prioritize opportunities.
- Mindset: Proactive, resilient, and energized by complexity. Driven by a commitment to deliver exceptional experiences for customers and measurable value for the business.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
