As a Solutions Specialist, you’ll be responsible for crafting visually stunning, high-quality document layouts for our clients. Your designs will ensure that their documents are not just professional, but also impactful and presentation-ready. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities and day-to-day tasks:
This role focuses on leveraging graphic design expertise to create and optimize layout templates, while also providing comprehensive solutions support.
- Layout Template Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality layout templates for new and existing customers, ensuring optimal visual presentation and functionality within the Xait solution.
- Customer Solutions & Support: Provide expert consultancy, training, and technical support to a global client base for Xait solutions. This includes assisting with pre- and post-sales efforts, troubleshooting issues, and bridging communication between customers and development teams.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for support and issue resolution. This involves utilizing internal systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira), contributing to knowledge base articles, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective client support.
- Collaboration & Quality Assurance: Partner with Development and Server Operations teams on quality assurance, system support, and new release documentation. Act as a Subject-Matter Expert, participating in cross-functional initiatives to enhance the Xait solution and client experience.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain professional documentation of support activities, client feedback, and performance metrics, escalating urgent issues as necessary.
Key skills
- Graphic Design Expertise: Strong foundation in design theory, typography, and color theory, coupled with advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Technical Acumen: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SaaS applications, with a basic understanding of networking, internet, and operating systems (PC/Mac). Familiarity with support tools like Zendesk and Jira is a plus.
- Communication & Training: Excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences, internally and externally. Proven ability to conduct training sessions for individuals and groups, both remotely and on-site.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a global, matrixed organization, fostering customer trust and satisfaction.
Qualifications Required
- A qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or fine arts (Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer-facing role in a medium to high volume setting.
- Familiar with standard business documentation requirements.
Qualifications Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, from an accredited institution of higher education in graphic design, visual communication, or fine arts.
- Certifications like the Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) or certifications in UI/UX design.
- 3 or more years of experience working within a SaaS business environment.
- Some experience working with word processing, co-authoring or collaborative writing SaaS tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Desktop publishing experience using tools such as InDesign or similar.
- Some experience training SaaS application to end user.
- Some experience working within multi-location and multi-time zone business environment.

Schedule
- Full-time: 5 working days, with 4 days on-site weekly, unless agreed otherwise.
- Travel may be required on weekends and public holidays, as necessary.
Work Location
- Houston
- Must be eligible to work in the US and have the ability to travel, based on the needs of the company, and to support customers with on-site training and support.
