Role: Fire Sprinkler and Alarm Field Technician
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $35 - $50 / hour
Benefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.

About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established fire protection contractor that is experiencing significant growth and has multiple immediate openings for experienced Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Field Technicians. With a strong backlog of commercial projects and additional work already scheduled, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organization that values skilled technicians and offers long-term career growth.
Most work is throughout the DFW Metroplex, with optional travel opportunities available for larger projects across Texas.
What You'll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and service commercial fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler systems
- Program and commission fire alarm control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure installations meet all applicable fire and life safety codes
- Work safely and efficiently on commercial construction and retrofit projects
- Collaborate with project teams to complete installations on schedule
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing or servicing fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler systems
- Ability to program fire alarm panels
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to satisfy I-9 employment eligibility requirements due to customer compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Honeywell, Edwards, or other major fire alarm manufacturers
- NICET Certification
- RME-I certification (highly preferred)
- Experience in commercial fire protection environments
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Travel
The majority of projects are located throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Technicians interested in travel may have opportunities to work on larger projects throughout Texas. Company-paid housing and per diem are provided for qualifying travel assignments, with many employees returning home on weekends.
