ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tuckerbilt Driver is responsible for safely operating a specialized concrete mixer truck to deliver wet concrete to construction sites. This role ensures accurate loading, transport, and placement of concrete while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The driver also performs routine inspections, coordinates with dispatch, and supports efficient on-site delivery operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Safely operate Tuckerbilt mixer truck to deliver concrete to job sites
- Load, transport, and unload concrete using truck controls and equipment
- Position truck accurately for safe and efficient concrete placement
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and jobsite requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery timing and updates
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is a safety-focused CDL driver with experience operating heavy equipment or concrete mixer trucks. They are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while managing delivery schedules and jobsite requirements. This individual takes pride in equipment care, communicates clearly, and ensures concrete is delivered accurately and on time.
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
- Experience operating concrete mixer trucks or similar equipment preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge for routine inspections and minor issues
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and climb equipment safely
- Good communication skills for coordination with dispatch and customers
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
- Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather , and outdoors (Depending on location)
- Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
