Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Experience: 10-15 Years (10+ years in Data Governance / IDQ)
Domain: BFSI (Banking / Financial Services preferred)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Governance Developer with strong expertise in Informatica IDQ and enterprise Data Governance implementation .

This role requires hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing data governance solutions, data quality frameworks, and metadata management processes across complex enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical depth in Data Governance platforms along with the ability to collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Governance Implementation

• Define and implement enterprise Data Governance policies, standards, and operating models.

• Develop and enforce data ownership and stewardship frameworks.

• Implement governance controls aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Data Quality Development & Monitoring

• Design and develop data quality rules using Informatica IDQ .

• Configure scorecards, profiling, validation, and monitoring processes.

• Identify root causes of data quality issues and implement remediation solutions.

Metadata & Data Management

• Develop and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.

• Integrate metadata and governance tools with source systems and reporting platforms.

• Support enterprise data lineage and traceability initiatives.

Technical Development & Integration

• Implement and configure Data Governance platforms including:

  • Informatica IDQ / EDC / AXON / IDMC

  • Collibra

  • IBM IGC

  • Alation

• Build interfaces to integrate data from multiple enterprise sources.

• Apply knowledge of ETL, data modeling, and reporting architectures.

Cloud & Agile Delivery

• Support Data Governance initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery models.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and governance roadmap execution.

Required Skills

1. Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDQ development.

2. Experience implementing enterprise Data Governance solutions using leading DG platforms.

3. Ability to design and operationalize data quality frameworks, policies, scorecards, and monitoring processes.

Preferred Skills

• AI enablement in Data Governance and Data Management.

• Data observability and augmented governance capabilities.

• BFSI domain exposure.

• Familiarity with Jira and Agile tools.
