Financial Analyst
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Maintain customer focus by ensuring the customer was behind business decisions and activities in meeting both their needs as well as organizational needs
- Build trust by interacting in a way that gives others confidence in my intentions and those of the organization through open communication, integrity, and support
- Maintains open lines of communication
- Plans and organizes work effectively and ensures its completion
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
- Demonstrate sound decision making by identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities
- Demonstrates team behavior and promotes a team-oriented environment
- Actively participates in Company projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor&rsquos degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills, data gathering skills, detail-oriented and highly organized
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with MS Office products with advanced level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentation skills comfortable interacting with executive level management
