Maron Marvel has a unique opportunity for an Of Counsel Attorney to join its Dallas office as Dedicated Counselfor one of our largest clients. We are seeking an experienced (5+ years) attorney who will operate independently, and exclusively receive assignments of general liability claims from one client. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Proactive management from start to finish of general liability claims Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, motions, and research Frequent client communications and reportingmaintain detailed records, a file log, and data to review with client on a monthly basis Comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations Deposition, arbitration, court hearing, and mediation attendance Qualifications: J.D. degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice in Texas 5+ years working with insurance companies in general liability defense claims Experience with best practices of insurance companies Demonstrated ability and desire to manage caseload proactively from start to finish Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environment Strong research ability, written/oral communication skills, and problem-solving skills Desire to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to continued client development
