Job Summary
We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Payroll Coordinator. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, timesheet reconciliation, and customer service support for employees regarding payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
Job Description
- Prepare, review, and reconcile employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process payroll in accordance with established policies, timelines, and regulations.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, including payment accuracy, balance inquiries, completion of payroll forms, and timekeeping system assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, ensuring concerns are resolved promptly and accurately.
- Support payroll audits and reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Perform other payroll-related duties and assignments as necessary.
Skills Required
- 3 years of experience in timesheet preparation and reconciliation, payroll preparation, and customer service with employees.
- Proficiency with payroll and timekeeping systems; strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- College degree preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Brooklyn floater which means they will be used for coverage in the 3 Brooklyn hospitals but will train and be stationed in Jacobi hospital in the Bronx when not covering.
Pay Rate
- $33.00 per hour
