If you have a desire to learn and enjoy interacting with customers, we are currently hiring Barn Cashier at our store on Hwy 365 in Nederland, TX.

? Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in friendly conversation

? Adjust to customer flow by always being on the move and available to provide assistance to customers and co workers

? Assists customers requests for orders or information on products or services

? Directs or assists customers to product location

? Provides information about product usage, availability, and application

? Comply with all cash handling rules and procedures

? Responsible for cash balance at end of shift

? Ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customers' needs.

? Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming promotions

? Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to merchandising standards.

? Follows Standard Operating Procedures.

? Maintains standard of cleanliness and organization

? Performs other duties as assigned.

? Job is in outside environment

Requirements

? Must be at least 16 years of age

? Knowledge of lumber and building materials

? Dependable with a high level of integrity

? Pre-employment drug test/physical/background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve the needs of our customers

? Accurate cash handling and math skills

? Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities

? Work in a standing position for extended periods of time. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

? Ability to lift 30lbs consistently
