Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and Generate Leads : Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
- Build and Maintain Relationships : Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Sales Pipeline Management : Manage and grow your sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using our CRM system.
- Negotiate Rates : Negotiate rates with clients and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Coordinate Shipments : Work closely with your operations team to ensure timely and efficient shipment coordination and delivery.
- Achieve Sales Targets : Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the freight brokerage or logistics industry. Must be located in Houston, TX, or Texas
- Skills : Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-Motivated : Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
