Job Overview
Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Helper
Hutto, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Work with hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
- Support production operations to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools and equipment
- Dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior maintenance, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in an industrial setting
Skills
- Proven experience in appliance repair and service technician roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Expertise in HVAC/R systems, and electrical troubleshooting
- Familiarity with construction principles related to facility maintenance
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively
- Leadership skills for guiding junior team members or coordinating maintenance tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations
