Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
- Associate’s degree in nursing
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Master’s degree in nursing
Experience:
- Preferred
- Two or more years of nursing experience
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas
- Basic Life xrczosw Support (BLS) Certification
- Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
- Preferred
- Certification in a Nursing Specialty Area, by an organization recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing
