The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. A commitment to guest satisfaction and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
• Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
• Maintain organized front desk operations, including managing phone systems and responding to calls with excellent phone etiquette.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Uphold guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment and addressing any special requests.

Skills

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
• Ability to handle guest relations effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Bilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing front desk tasks.
