Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA
Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Huntsville. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide essential therapy services in the comfort of patients' homes, contributing positively to their overall health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy programs under PT supervision to meet mobility goals.
- Conduct home visits for treatments and exercises to enhance function and independence.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans in consultation with supervising PT.
- Educate patients and families on recovery exercises and activities.
- Document care activities and progress accurately and timely.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree from accredited PTA program.
- Current Texas PTA license.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt in home care settings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
