Siemens is looking for an Indirect Materials' buyer for their Grand Prairie, Texas location. This person will be responsible for the all the indirect purchasing as well as the annual physical inventory preparation

You will make an impact by:

• Manages indirect materials purchasing including PPE, IT, buy outs, warranty, R&D, and ME purchase orders through SAP MRP system
• Handles annual blanket orders and oversees API annual processes, including planning and execution
• Maintains SAP master data (order quantities, safety stocks, lead times) and vendor data through GMDM
• Develops sourcing strategies through supply chain evaluation and data analysis
• Responsible for inventory targets, delivery reliability, and cost-saving initiatives, including GRIR resolution
• Collaborates with manufacturing, planning, and customer service teams to meet customer requirements

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA in related discipline and 3-5 years of purchasing experience with MRP system in manufacturing environment.
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
• Willingness and ability to learn and grow the responsibilities of the role based on greater understanding of our business
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• APICS CSCP and/or CPIM
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• SAP certifications/Courses

• The pay range for this position is $59,150 - $101,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
