Estate & Trust Legal Assistant
The Woodlands, TX | Full-Time
Join a growing, client-focused law firm where your skills and attention to detail make a meaningful impact. We are seeking an experienced Estate & Trust Legal Assistant to support our attorneys with estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Assist with trust administration and probate matters
- Coordinate client meetings, document signings, and follow-up communications
- Draft correspondence, probate filings, deeds, and asset transfer documents
- Maintain client files, calendars, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, accountants, and other professionals
- File documents electronically with Texas courts as needed
- Support attorneys with research and special projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience
- Estate planning, trust administration, or probate experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
