GSC Subcontract Administrator - Early Career

Lockheed Martin is seeking a General Supply Chain Subcontract Administrator for a position in Arlington, TX to support the THAAD program to develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. Responsibilities include: Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. Works with suppliers to ensure that parts are delivered to PO contract dates. Develops mitigation plans as needed to ensure build need dates are met. May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. This position requires working on-site 2 -3 days per week.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Demonstrated ability to establish strong internal customer and supplier relationships. Detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong business acumen with the ability to identify risk elements in business transactions, think analytically, and provide effective guidance towards resolving contractual issues Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Procure to Pay (P2P) Working knowledge of Procurement processes including Lockheed Martin Material Acquisition Procedures and FAR Ability to multi-task Comfortable working in a team environment Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and internal customers daily.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
