Software Test Engineer (LabVIEW/TestStand)
- Interacting with a wide variety of NI customers, NI staff, external alliance partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing and sustaining custom solutions
- Defining and implementing system test plans, managing milestones and holding reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment
- Verification of the developed tests to ensure compliance with and coverage of requirements
- Traveling as needed domestically and abroad in support of project objectives
- B. S. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience developing test software using LabVIEW/TestStand
- Experience developing automated test software using PXI chassis and interfacing with some of the following: analog I/O cards, digital I/O cards, DMMs, oscilloscopes, National Instrument's switching and signal routing systems, data acquisition devices, power supplies, RF analyzers, and RF power sensors
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces, such as GPIB, USB, Ethernet, and serial communication protocols
- Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#, Python)
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to:

- Problem-solve effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions
- Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently
- Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products
