Material Handler
Snelling is currently seeking a Material Handler for our client’s facility located in Grand Prairie. This role plays an important part in supporting warehouse operations through efficient material movement, loading/unloading, and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.75/hour
Responsibilities:
Unload and stage incoming shipments using various material-handling equipment (MHE).
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment while adhering to all safety rules.
Prepare and break down inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
Pull orders and stage materials for production in a timely and organized manner.
Communicate regularly with Production Supervisors to ensure the availability of raw materials and products.
Perform shipping and receiving functions, including wrapping, banding, loading/unloading trucks, and completing shipping documentation.
Accurately pick customer orders and enter receipts into inventory.
Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout and at the end of each shift.
