Pay: $18.00 per hour + tips

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Sushi Chef in Dove Creek, Texas!

As one of the Pacific Northwest's most desired dining establishments, we've expanded into Texas and are excited to bring our fresh sushi and guest-focused dining experience to Dove Creek.

The Sushi Chef will be responsible for making sushi and other menu items while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Chefs work closely with other kitchen staff and are responsible for adhering to health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create high-quality sushi, including rolling, cutting, and packaging for dine-in and take-out

• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are strictly adhered to

• Provide a high level of guest satisfaction, especially at the sushi bar

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station

• Display knowledge of menu items and promotions

• Complete opening and closing duties efficiently and safely

• Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef, Sushi Roller, or restaurant cook

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and speed

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Positive attitude under pressure

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Culinary school diploma a plus

• Texas Food Handler Certification required before first day of work

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

• Stand for extended periods, walk, reach, lift, twist, crouch throughout the shift
