RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Minimum 4 years of NICU Level III-IV experience required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience preferred
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Work with high-tech equipment including HFNC, vents, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, PIV, feeding pumps, and IV pumps
• EMR system: CPN/Meditech
• Required certifications: NRP and STABLE
• May float to Newborn Nursery when needed
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
• Minimum 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday through Sunday)
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and up to 4 RNs
• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and up to 4 RNs
• Must work well with others, show willingness to help, and be proactive
• Typical procedures include support for intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines performed by providers

This medical center operates a 10-bed NICU with an 8-bed stepdown unit, providing specialized care for critically ill newborns. The facility maintains a staff of 20 healthcare professionals and focuses on high-acuity neonatal care with advanced life support equipment and comprehensive medical services.
